Got up at 6 o'clock and after 1,5 hours drive we were ready to go. Slopes were still closed so we didn't have to explain anyone what the heck are we doing.
Once we reached the top it was a total whiteout and a bit windy too. Luosto is pretty self-explanatory so we just kept going until we could see something again and the backside was right in front of us. The very top was windcrust but it changed very soon to really nice powder which made us scream like indians (Ville said that's how I sounded)

And up again, this time not so easy way but we managed to make a track. In some point the snow made reaaally weird sounds.

Down. Due to those sounds we stayed on less steep parts and tried to avoid convex shapes. Still very good!

Ville goes deep! And not cheating at all!

We decided to dig a snowpit close to where we heard most sounds. There were more snow than we expected and we could easily separate a weak layer under about 50 cm's of new snow. Lower down there were few other weak layers too. When we started to make rutchblog test, the new snow slid when Ville had just one ski on the top. And when he stepped on it the whole thing collapsed. So we thought it might be good time to go home.

And going home...
I didn't mind leaving early because I had this cutie visiting!

Hey Kaisa, looks like there has been good snow around your parts of the tundra. Say hi to Kalle and the middle Ville and big Ville for me.
