Sun & nice uphill

Kirsti and I had the first sunny touring day for this season at Tsukaige Kogen. I already missed the smell of sunscreen, the noise that my bindings make and the good feeling you get for reaching the top. Our "Gipfel" wasn't anything big or glorious today, but I really enjoyed passing the snowy trees, the windy ridge - and the downhill part too. And of course we should not forget the lunch in the sun! Even though it wasn't epic pow and not really a nice firn either, for me the most important thing was just simply being at the mountains and feeling good about it. I wish Kalle could have been there too!
